Diagonally behind Atom, Solace runs up to him. Wide pan from the side of the path, with Atom walking past and Solace running up.
“Atom, you see what I mean?”

“It’s total darkness.”
“Then let’s not waste time.”
They step past camera as the camera slowly comes to a stop. She stands to his right.
Wide shot from afar within the Hopen, praying, on Solace and Atom walking, panning with them.
“Did you let them through?…”
CU of Solace talking, front-on toward Atom’s direction.
“The Mother requested the…”
Smooth tracking shot pulling back as Atom and Solace walk. Camera leaning more onto Atom’s side diagonally. All dialogue continues until “tell the greenbearers to go ahead.” Atom steps past camera as the camera slowly stops with Solace, as Atom gestures for her to stop. On this shot she says her last line:
“Even with the people still inside?”
Some characters move past in the background.
Wide shot of Atom walking away down the bridge. Some characters run past him.
“Don’t worry…”
Characters run past, crossing in front of Atom as he marches into the centre of frame and stops, looking around. After a moment he spots Dawce and yells out to her.
A door off to the side opens, with two people running out, and Dawce saying, “Come on, come on, let’s go.” Atom shouts at her and grabs her attention as she looks up and steps slowly toward him.
(DOING THIS SHOT IN MY APARTMENT, silent.)
Side-on shot of them both facing each other, stepping up to each other.
(Benches in the park to create height difference?)
“How many more levels?”
“It’s just this one…”
“Okay…”
Continue through as the scrawny man steps up and says his line. Continue until Atom says his last line. First he looks down at the kid again, then back up at the man:
“They’ll take care of you there.”
CU of Atom’s face looking toward the door, then looking back.
“Good job.”
He nods. Continue through with the scrawny man stepping up, then Atom looking down at the kid for a moment.
People scurry out toward the doorway, running away down the bridge.
OTS of Atom, low on Dawce looking up at him. He pats her on the side of the shoulder. She looks up at him, determined, and nods. The man steps up beside Dawce from behind.
Medium on Atom.
“I’m sorry, sir, but this whole block’s been decommissioned...”
CU tracking shot of Atom’s jacket as he takes out the paper and passes it over to the man’s hand. We see the kid by his side. Throughout the shot we hear dialogue continue.
“Make your way to East Gantry.”
Scrawny man looking down, then back up at Atom, and nodding.
CU on Solace looking up at the building.
Medium wide on Solace looking up as Atom steps to her side. Solace reacts slightly to Atom, then looks up again. Atom remains fixated. BOOM AND SUN. Pause for a moment.
“How long will this give us?”
“Another six moon…”
