Warner and Jorsse meet again at the top of the Gate’s Keep.
Jorsse discovered something valuable, but when he expresses his desire to present it to the Heavens himself—to prove his worth and possibly find a greater purpose—Warner realizes he wants to take all the credit. Jorsse, now holding the crucial information within his moon, insists on taking it to the Heavens personally. Seeing an opportunity, Warner decides he can prove his own worth by taking Jorsse to the Heavens—dead.
Warner betrays Jorsse, pushing him off an edge to his death. As Jorsse falls, Warner coldly remarks, "You'll leave your mark... on the concrete."
