truman tells kai and ely about a way to the mountain and that he can help them because he shows a specific key and lets them know it can give them access to a way there

when they arrive at the bunker truman shows them around and specifcally shows them all the storaged food “no one has even touched it”

there is a moments with the kids look over at lucky who is eating away at a piece of food with his 2 paws holding it

they all then sleep the night only to wake up later with truman having prepared a “proper” meal for them

why does truman not just kill and eat them then? while they sleep? we should probably insert a reason he keeps them alive momentarially?
