The film may end on a somber note, with Rogue remaining a Keeper who appears compliant with the Heaven's order, despite some of the events that may have made him reconsider his stance. However, he has made a small but significant change by planting a seed of doubt in Poppet, hinting at potential future changes. Despite his outward compliance, there is a subtle indication that Rogue’s perspective may have shifted.

As the story concludes, Rogue explores the now-abandoned rebel base Sadars. All the rebels have been killed as he searches for any remnants that may be left behind.

In a surprising twist, Rogue encounters Dawce, a child from the Anyth. The child had been hidden in this facility by the rebels, but with no one left to care for her, Dawce is now alone. This is the first time in the film that we see the child Rogue has been investigating and seeking all along.

The film ends with Rogue and Dawce looking at each other, leaving the audience to ponder his choice and its implications.
