the hopens ultimately lose this battle — they all die: but ARE successful in bringing down one of the pedastal’s wings as planned, but unfortunately it isnt enough to bring down the entire pedastal as it still is structurely standing on 3 legs — further adding to how industrially competent the heavens are

also: before this war, there must be a conversation with the anyth founders and mother as well us other important figures about the consequences of this battle, the goal is ofcourse to bring one of the pedastal wings down but it must also be added that these wings are so enormously large that even if successful the wing will crush collpase and crush any and everything below it, this battle even if successful is a suicide mission and ofcourse the hopen accept that reality none the less

brialliantly though when the wing collpases it also wipes out nearly all the Raven as well — being a massive victory for the hopen as killing Raven has always been near impossible

mother nature gets cut open along the neck and still pays her respects by saluting the Optanity way, Raven kills and cuts her the way she dies she falls to her knees and an Raven places their sword down on her right sholder and pulls backwards slicing open mother’s neck, mother’s neck open up bleeding like crazy and she salutes, flicking her blood onto the shoes of the Raven

mother says at begining of battle “god save us from ourselves”

Throughout the entire series the Hopen have never had the actual courage to face the heavens even though their have been many close moments. Finally in an act of courage the Hopens finally make the push and decide to attack/defend against the Heavens to fight for their cause. The do this knowing they die anyways.

Perhaps they are even only fighting a few Raven, like 20 or something.

brock is of course here in this sequence and dies with mother he is heavily injured and collapses to the ground on his back here, he looks up at the pedastal towering into the sky above him, it is beggining to collpase and he can see chunks of it slowly collapsing as it creaks under it’s weight — the detonations of explosives are still going off under the pedastal as it gets closer and closer to caving in he then turns his head looking to his right and we get a flash back as we cut to a pov of him looking at Sticker, they are both lying down next to eachother and smiling at eachother happily this being a memory of the girl is lost to the heavens years ago when then cut to the cost shot of him looking back up to the sky towards the camera and we see him completely teary eyed crying from his memory, we have cut back to reality now to see him once again alone on the battlefield peering up the pedastal falls.

mother says to brock in the moments leading up to the battle against the pedastal “ burry her, in their rubble”
