Working sources and versions

The existing project page contains the current Part I screenplay, including public rejection; retain it. Its Part II heading was empty. The pre trial jor scene contains later dialogue and 3 October face-design direction; it supersedes the older 43-second chat draft where wording differs.

The complete accessible OFS text was read back to its first brief, 26 September 07:47, through the latest 29 September turns. 84 overlapping browser captures preserve full pasted script text, dialogue banks, outlines and Part II master notes in OFS-browser-history.txt. A separate indexed source collection retains substantive turns and drafts; these are historical versions, not automatically canon. Director locks

• Jor Barrackston, The A1, The Ungated. Earlier Jeor/Barrickston, Architect, Unowned/Unkeepers are historical names.
• Target 10–12 minutes, Part I roughly 4–5 and Part II 6–7. Earlier 8/14/22-minute plans are superseded. Latest trial expansion and pre-trial require a fresh timed read; draft estimates are not measured footage.
• Part I on Anyth, working year 2473, post-Terra War and before Great Recapitulate/Archeston. No orbital stations except the Heavens. Anyth is flourishing civic brutalism with sun, water and greenery; grimdark does not require an entirely hellish city.
• Tribunal is not Founders Hall. Huge round civic crown; latest script proposes pale stone/dark metal drum, radial buttresses and three curved slabs around an open void, circular oculus and tiered gallery. Maintain current script rather than resurrect earlier generic cathedral/orbital proposals.
• Judicator is a young, broad, stocky, rough woman, short hair with faint unnatural colour, extraordinarily deep voice, asymmetric heavy civic layers and Archive epaulette. Serving Archive Founder; other Founders silent. Earlier elderly man rejected. Exact historical Founder rotation/number must be checked against era-specific lore.
• Jor: early thirties, broad powerful stocky build, intelligent rough face, controlled deeply voiced presence. Newer face notes: subtle old scars, broad Astartes jaw, bitter/defiant with hidden hurt; Hound inspiration. No final face selected.
• Ungated armour: bulky dual triangular/twin-peak profile, cleaner unified Part I and battered/repaired Part II.
• Arrives unrestrained with court officers and his own soldiers, ambiguous escort/procession. Quiet power imbalance; no overt performance of threats or anxiety about the trial outcome. Only Jor and Judicator speak the tribunal dialogue. AIDE was a transcription/assistant mistake.

Tribunal argument and performance

Jor admits theft; argues it was warranted rather than pretending no theft occurred. Copies leave originals intact but destroy exclusivity. A1 selectively takes the highest-quality, useful mature works concentrated under elite ownership: quality before volume. This is not an indiscriminate theft from every emerging artist, nor a claim wealth equals excellence. Makers produce; owners finance, purchase and consolidate. Do not use the rejected premise that ordinary knowledge was already abundant and therefore only quantity mattered.

Judicator presses consent, restitution, livelihood and self-appointed authority. Wealthy victims' capacity to survive does not alone make theft just. She is hostile and frames the ugliest conclusion; avoid treating her as a neutral seminar moderator or making her contemptuous of poor makers.

Profit is Jor's real hypocrisy: his unrestricted A1 benefits him while others pay for portions. He admits wanted advantage and knows it is unjust. No machinery-cost, revolution-funding or independence excuse. A microscopic roughly two-second fracture is enough before he concedes and recovers.

Local copies will eventually become sufficient and reduce his pricing/profit. He remains confident his A1 will always be best: losing profit is not losing capability. The collective-inheritance argument was explicitly removed later; preserve its early drafts only.

Keep one ordered argument rather than a philosophical catalogue. Substantial varied sentences, only 2–3 interruptions, no repetitive yes/no ping-pong or mechanical echoes. Intentional evolved grimdark language, legible meaning, coarse private intimacy before court.
